Aprons for Starbucks' Interns from Turtleworks

Aprons for Starbucks' Interns from Turtleworks

As one of the most popular multinational chain coffeehouses, Starbucks alongside many other café shops provides shirts, hats, or aprons with their logo on them to employees. The manager at San Jose Starbucks had an idea to show appreciation to his diligent staff members. He wanted to give them personalized aprons with their names embroidered on them. The manager contacted Turtleworks, asking us to help him customize these beautiful gifts. He heard Turtleworks has wonderful quality and provides great service to customers, and most importantly, the story and work behind the products Turtleworks make. After receiving the request from the manager, Turtleworks with its interns dived into work.

The manager was thrilled with the quality of the embroidery and the fast turnaround time. While he was thankful for us, we were also thankful for him. His request helped Turtleworks create more job opportunities for people with autism. These interns went through training sessions, and they gained experience by creating many products such as keychains, customized shirts, hats, bags, and more. Turtleworks is proud to provide these interns with encouragement, and practical training and experiences for their future.

The Starbucks manager was profoundly impressed by the final products Turtleworks made. He even extended an invitation to the interns who helped with this project alongside offering them Starbucks coupons as tokens of gratitude.

This heartwarming gesture encouraged Turtleworks and Turtleworks’ interns to keep producing great work. It highlighted the kindness in the community and the involvement of many kind people in supporting people with autism. Turtleworks is determined to help each person with special needs overcome their obstacles and establish a confident self with a bright future. We are dedicated to continuing to contribute to our community.
