Eric and the Saratoga Robotics Team, 2025

At Turtleworks, we believe embroidery is more than thread and fabric—it’s about leadership, identity, and community. Recently, we had the privilege of working with Eric, a dedicated leader of Saratoga High School’s VEX Robotics Club.

Eric started the club years ago to support his child’s interest in robotics. Even after his son graduated, he stayed on, guiding new students, mentoring, and giving his time so others could succeed. Under his leadership, the team has thrived and is preparing for another major competition.

This year, Eric wanted his students to feel united and confident with custom embroidered uniforms. Though new to the process, he carefully reviewed every detail—garment choices, designs, samples—making sure the final result would be perfect. His dedication inspired us.

The order itself was a challenge: logos on the front, large personalized designs on the back, and everything needed in less than three days. Our team worked together with precision and care, determined to make it happen.

When Eric picked up the uniforms on Valentine’s Day, he brought a small gift of thanks. That thoughtful gesture reflected the same kindness he shows his students.

Eric reminds us why we do what we do—creating with care and supporting our community.
